Optional Maths Worksheets
Year 4: Using inverted commas to show speech
Year 5: Punctuation and inverted commas
Read the next chapter of The Tempest (pages 22-32). There is a lot of dialogue on these pages, make note of how it is punctuated based on your grammar starter.
Your task this morning is to write some of your own punctuation for The Tempest. Choose two characters and write an imagined conversation between them. You might choose a conversation between Ariel and Caliban about Prospero. Or a conversation between Miranda and Ariel about Caliban's attack. The most important thing is to get your speech punctuation correct.
Year 5 Science- Evolution
Linking to your earlier learning around adaptations of species, I would like you to design their own creature for a chosen habitat, thinking about diet, home, transport, skin/covering, climate, predator/prey.
You can use the template below or design your own layout.
