Welcome to our Preschool page

We are the Acorns Preschool Class of Rockbeare Church of England Primary School, based in our own purpose-built building catering for children aged 3 years and over. We work very closely with the Reception teacher, planning a cohesive, progressive curriculum, transition and in sharing outside visitors and trips.

The main room is divided into dedicated areas to allow free-flow play in all the areas of learning. There is a role play corner, numeracy area, messy play area, book corner etc.  The children have access to a safe and secure deck and outside play space.

When your child moves from the Preschool to Reception Class, you will need to apply to the Local Authority through the normal admissions process.
